For the first time in 25 years, the screen sector has come together to create a strategy to guide future growth and opportunity in an inclusive and sustainable way.
The Aotearoa New Zealand Screen Sector Strategy 2030 is an industry-led, 10-year road map to guide the industry forward. The strategy includes a three-year action plan which includes initiatives on growing investment, increased home-grown IP development; growth in businesses and employment; and a deeper partnership with government. The strategy also recommends establishing a body or organisation for pan-sector representation.
