Fraser Brown

Fraser is an award-winning creative producer and professional actor with more than two decades experience. He is the founder and Creative Director of FluroBlack, alongside producing partner, Leela Menon, and a co-founder and director of Tahi Production Services. Fraser graduated from Toi Whakaari – New Zealand drama school with a BA in acting in 2001 and also holds a BCOM from the University of Otago. As an actor, Fraser has featured in some iconic New Zealand film and TV projects including “Archibald Baxter” in Field Punishment No. 1, Mahana and The Insiders Guide to HappinessFraser has produced, or executive produced, nine feature documentaries since his first, McLarendirected by Roger Donaldson, was the highest grossing NZ film at the local box office in 2017. His most recent, Stylebender, directed by Zoe McIntosh, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was voted RNZ’s Critics Choice – “NZ Film Of the Year” for 2023. Other notable credits include: Whina, The Dead Lands TV Series, Orphans & Kingdoms, Dawn Raid and the upcoming horrorGrafted.
