Jodie Molloy

Jodie Molloy is a screenwriter with a penchant for comedy. Involved in many successful projects both on the screen and stage, her most well known television work to date is the cult hit THE JAQUIE BROWN DIARIES, inspired in part by her early career as a publicist for the likes of TVNZ, TV3, MTV and EMI Records.

She’s currently a freelance script consultant for major production companies both here and in Australia, and has worked on many of the successful primetime shows that have graced our screens in the last decade. Her personal development slate includes a new half hour comedy with the ABC Australia and TVNZ, and a new feature film with Libertine Pictures amongst other things.

When Jodie’s not writing comedy, she’s passionate about producing, which she does through her company Perendale (www.perendale.tv) which she runs with media satirists Jeremy Wells and Paul Casserly.

She’s also a weekly pundit on Graham Hill’s Radio Live program with her segment MEDIASTICK and is about to embark upon a Masters of Screenwriting at Cambridge University.
