Kasia Karwan has been working as a sales executive in Premium Films since March 2012.
Premium Films is a sales agent and theatrical distribution company based in France. The company was created in 1998, and initially specialised in short film distribution. They represent many internationally acclaimed Academy Award and Palme d’Or winning shorts films. Over the last two years the company has expanded their activity to include acting as a sales agent for feature films, aiming to release films from their catalogue in theatres; OXYGEN by Hans Van Nuffel, LEONES by Jazmin Lopez, SOLDATE JEANNETTE by Daniel HOESL – Tiger award winner at Rotterdam 2013, CRAWL by Hervé Lasgouttes – Best European Film Venice Days 2012, BOY EATING THE BIRD’S FOOD – Ektoras Lygizos. Most recently, Premium Films partnered with Garance Capital to co-produce REALITY by Matteo Garrone which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012.
Alongside her work in Premium Films – Kasia is also involved into the production of documentaries with the company Alea Films.
Originally from Poland, she now lives in Paris and has a Masters in Cinema, Television and New Media Production from La Sorbonne.
