Oscar Kightley

Born in Samoa, Oscar Kightley (MNZM) is an award-winning writer, actor and director who has created critically acclaimed work for the stage, small screen and big screen. Oscar is a member of The Naked Samoans comedy group, with whom he wrote TV3 series Bro’Town which won Best Comedy for three consecutive years at the NZ Screen Awards and entered its fifth season in 2008. He wrote feature films Sione’s Wedding and Sione’s 2: Unfinished Business and was a writer for Shortland Street. His acting credits include Harry and Hunt for the Wilderpeople.
