Toby Parkinson is a veteran film and television producer whose career began at just 13 years old. From early days on set as an extra and stand-in, he worked his way behind the camera to become a trusted figure across theatrical features, television, and premium live events. Most recently, he produced the 2024 New Zealand historical feature Ka Whawhai Tonu (In the Fire of War).
He is the founder of Bluedog Productions, the leading producer of live concert films in Australia and New Zealand, and heads Avoca Blue, a boutique distributor bringing distinctive local content to global platforms. His client list includes Viacom, Beta, ABC, Foxtel, Discovery, and Netflix.
Known for his strategic thinking and on-the-ground production expertise, Parkinson brings a deep understanding of visual effects integration and post-production pipelines in a fast-changing screen industry.
