Please read these terms and conditions carefully before registering for the event. By continuing with the registration process you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The purchase of tickets is subject to the following conditions:
1. Issue of tickets
When you have completed ticket payment processes a tax invoice will be emailed to you including your registration number. Electronic tickets will then be issued to you via email prior to the event.
2. Claims and complaints
All claims and complaints whatsoever are the sole responsibility of BSS and to the extent permitted by law BSS has no liability to you.3. Refund and cancellation
Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, except in accordance with the applicable laws in the jurisdiction of purchase. If a refund is required by law, liability is limited to refunding the ticket price only. All other fees and charges are non-refundable.
3. Replacement tickets
If you misplace your electronic ticket BSS will replace it for an administration fee of $10.
4. Lost or damaged tickets
BSS reserves the right to refuse admission where tickets are lost or damaged, or tickets are not purchased through BSS or other authorised points of sale. BSS reserves the right to charge an administrative fee for replacement tickets.
5. Concession Tickets (Students/Guild Members/Sponsors)
BSS reserves the right to refuse admission if suitable and valid identification for concession tickets is not provided.
6. Resale of tickets
Tickets may not, without the prior consent of BSS, be resold at a premium or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
7. Admission
BSS reserves the right to refuse admission with reasonable cause. Late arrivals may be prevented from admission until a suitable break in the programme.
8. Programme
BSS reserves the right to withdraw, replace or substitute presenters, or amend the programme, prices and/or seating arrangements.
9. Recording of programme/event
Cameras and video recorders (film, digital or otherwise), audiotape recorders and all other recording devices are prohibited at the event (unless under contract with BSS e.g. Auckland University Business School)
10. Personal Information
Your personal information will be held by BSS. It will not be sold or passed on to any other party. If you’ve opted to receive email updates from BSS and have provided an email address, you will be sent regular BSS email newsletters. You can opt out of these at any time. 11. Big Screen Symposium Limited reserves the right to revise or amend the Conditions of Sale without notice. Revisions or amendments become effective on posting. By making any purchase using this site after the terms and conditions have been varied you agree to be bound by the revisions or amendments.
