FILMMAKER BEHIND NETFLIX SENSATION CHEER JOINS LINEUP

Join us to hear from LA-based filmmaker Arielle Kilker, who recently developed, produced, co-directed and edited the awe-inspiring Netflix “mega-hit” Cheer. The six-part documentary series unveils the demanding world of competitive cheerleading as it follows the Navarro team’s journey to defend their national title. In 2019 Arielle was a supervising editor on college football series Last Chance U, and an editor on Chef’s Table, both Emmy-nominated Netflix docu-series. At the Big Screen Symposium, Arielle will deliver a masterclass on the documentary series format.
