In this session moderated by Kay Ellmers, Piripi Curtis (Steambox Collective, Vegas), Becs Arahanga (Hinekura, Vai) and Lanita Ririnui (Māori Television, Poi360) will explore ideas and methods for Tīkanga Māori to be incorporated into the creation of screen work; from the development of the idea, through to funding, production, distribution and audience engagement. They will share their own transformative experiences in recent mahi, and will discuss future ways to tell stories for the screen with Tīkanga led values and processes.
