Chelsea Winstanley (Jojo Rabbit, Merata: How Mum Decolonized the Screen), Te Kohe Tuhaka (The Dead Lands) and Lanita Ririnui (Content Commissioner, Māori Television) explore ideas and methods for Tīkanga Māori to be incorporated into the creation of screen work – from the development of the idea, through to funding, production, distribution and audience engagement. They will share their own transformative experiences in recent mahi, and will discuss future ways to tell stories for the screen with Tīkanga led values and processes. Moderated by Kay Ellmers (Commissioning and Acquisitions Manager, RNZ).
